Nithi project is a 5.0 MW run-of-river hydro power plant utilizing the hydro power potential of the river Nithi as it drops 250m in a series of rapids near Chuka on the eastern slopes of Mt. Kenya in Kenya. The project will be connected to the national grid. The project is in late stage development.
Frontier Involvement
Frontier Energy II is the sole shareholder in the project company, Nithi Hydro Power Ltd., with a view to manage the entire project development and provide equity for the construction of the project.
