The Kyambura project is a 7.6 MW run-of-river hydro power plant utilizing the hydro power potential of the river Kyambura as it drops 100m in a series of rapids in Rubiziri District, Western Uganda. The project is connected to the national grid. The project is in operation.
Frontier Involvement
In June 2018, Frontier Energy II, started providing financing to the project company, Ziba Ltd., with a view to provide equity for the construction of the project.
