The NECSOM solar project is a 5 MW solar PV and 20 MWh BESS project in Garowe capital of the Puntland region. The project will be connected to NECSOM current distribution which consist of a medium voltage network is rated at 11kV and measures 38km in length and a low voltage network is rated at 0.415/0.23kV and measures 680km in length. The project is in in a mid-stage of development.
Frontier Involvement
Frontier Energy II is a substantial shareholder in the project company, Somalia Frontier Energy Company, with a view to contribute to the development and provide equity for the construction of the project.
